OSL Launches AgentPay, Enabling Stablecoin Payments for AI Agents

Hong Kong-licensed digital asset platform OSL introduces AgentPay, a stablecoin payment service for AI agents, initially targeting enterprise clients.

Hong Kong-licensed digital asset platform OSL announced this week the launch of AgentPay, a stablecoin payment service designed for AI agents. According to the announcement, the product allows AI agents to initiate and receive stablecoin transactions such as USDC via API interfaces, supporting automated machine-to-machine payment scenarios. AgentPay is now live in Hong Kong and initially available to enterprise clients.

OSL stated that AgentPay integrates KYC, AML, and real-time transaction monitoring to comply with the regulatory requirements of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). The service aims to address compliance and authorization challenges in AI agent payments, such as restricting agent payment behavior through preset per-transaction limits and beneficiary whitelists.

The launch comes amid growing global interest in AI agent payment infrastructure. Payment giants like Stripe have already opened stablecoin settlement to agents, while protocols such as x402 are advancing standardization for machine payments. As a licensed platform, OSL's AgentPay may offer a more regulated channel for agent payments, though its market adoption remains to be seen.
