Blockchain, Wallet and Screening Risk Disclosure
Risk disclosure
Finality: confirmed on-chain transactions are generally irreversible. Wrong addresses, networks, tokens or approvals may cause permanent loss.
Stablecoins: USDC and other stablecoins carry issuer-freeze, depeg, smart-contract, bridge, liquidity and regulatory risks.
Wallet warnings: alerts and trust scores are generated by wallets or third parties and are not controlled by OceanAlt. New or low-history addresses may trigger warnings.
Screening limits: sanctions, mixer, taint, blacklist, path and behavioural data may be delayed, incomplete or conflicting. PASS/clear is not zero risk; FAIL/risky is not a final legal determination; uncertain means evidence is insufficient.
Gateway limits: OceanAlt can decide only on requests routed through its interfaces and cannot stop direct on-chain transfers outside the gateway.
Public records: addresses, values, times and paths may remain public and be analysed by third parties. Do not use addresses or on-chain memos to transmit sensitive personal information.
Third parties: wallets, RPCs, chains, stablecoin issuers, data sources and facilitators may fail or err, causing delays, failures or differing results.
Regulation: stablecoin, agent-payment, sanctions and data rules are changing fast; availability in one region does not mean a feature is lawful or suitable everywhere.
Core reminder: OceanAlt's output supports risk assessment and service admission; it does not replace KYC/KYB, sanctions legal advice, transaction monitoring, human review or your own mandate controls.
