Socure Acquires Fravity as Valuation Hits $5.2B, Doubling Down on AI Agent Risk Management

Identity and risk intelligence infrastructure provider Socure announced on August 27 the completion of a $156 million funding round led by Summit Partners, valuing the company at $5.2 billion. The round also funded the acquisition of Fravity, an AI agent platform specializing in automated fraud, risk, and compliance operations.

Socure said Fravity's capabilities will be integrated into its RiskOS platform, delivered as RiskOS_Agents, designed to automate case investigation work that analysts currently handle manually. The company noted that as fraud volumes surge and AI-driven sophisticated attacks scale, analysts are increasingly spending time on paperwork.

Socure's trust infrastructure currently serves more than 3,000 enterprise customers and government agencies, and it already shares several joint customers with Fravity. Summit Partners Managing Director Andy Collins said identity has become the primary control point for trust in an AI-driven economy, and platforms that can accurately verify identity at global scale will define the risk infrastructure of the next decade.
