Circle Unveils Fast Deposit

Circle Internet Financial announced this week the launch of Fast Deposit, claiming that its fiat gateway can process deposits up to 40 times faster than traditional methods. The feature is aimed at enterprise clients using its stablecoin infrastructure and is designed to shorten conversion times between fiat currency and USDC, supporting high-frequency trading and real-time settlement use cases. According to Circle's announcement, Fast Deposit is now live in select U.S. states, with plans to expand to other jurisdictions gradually.

Competitive Landscape Heats Up

The upgrade comes amid intensifying competition in stablecoin payments, with giants like Stripe and PayPal accelerating their push into agentic payments and machine-to-machine settlement. Circle says the new service will reduce idle capital costs, particularly benefiting market makers and cross-border payment platforms that rely on rapid fund circulation. Specific fee rates and the full list of supported banking networks have not been fully disclosed, but the company says it has completed system integrations with multiple partner banks.
