FIS Launches Agentic AI Suite to Help CFOs Forecast Cash Flow
FIS has released an Agentic Insights Suite that predicts cash positions across multiple time horizons and assesses credit risk in real time, as interest in agentic AI for working capital outpaces actual adoption.

FIS Unveils Agentic Insights Suite
U.S. fintech company FIS on October 12, 2026, released its Agentic Insights Suite. The suite includes a cash flow forecasting module that can predict cash positions across multiple time horizons, combining a company's own data with external credit and public data to assess credit risk and business health in real time.
FIS describes the suite as a centralized hub that aggregates data, performs analysis, and delivers recommended actions, rather than merely automating individual tasks. Data is drawn from multiple systems, enabling finance, credit, and treasury teams to collaborate based on a consistent data set.
Adoption Gap Despite Strong Interest
Citing a Deloitte survey, FIS noted that 46% of finance leaders view working capital optimization as a primary use case for agentic AI, but only 14% have integrated AI agents into their finance functions—indicating that interest far outstrips actual adoption.
Cash Protection as a Core CFO Challenge
FIS said that with high funding costs and finance operations spread across more markets and systems, protecting cash has become a core challenge for the CFO's office, and finance teams are increasingly turning to agentic AI to address it.
