Submission, Registry and Public Rating Terms
Applies to KYA submissions, control-baseline attestations, RAP conformance, RAP ratings, the Registry, company/service profiles and the right of reply.
1. Submitter warranties
The submitter warrants that they are authorised to submit for the relevant party; the information is true and not misleading; they may submit the supporting evidence; they are not impersonating anyone; and they are not submitting personal data, credentials or secrets they have no right to publish.
2. OceanAlt's rights
OceanAlt may verify, request further evidence, mark evidence tiers, defer publication, refuse, correct, withdraw, keep historical versions and publish change dates.
3. Not a certification
A successful submission, listing, conformance score, rating or Registry entry is not a regulatory certification, an OceanAlt safety certification or an official endorsement.
4. Correction and reply
A rated or listed party may submit further evidence, point out factual errors, request an update and publish a response. OceanAlt keeps a record of material revisions.
5. Conflicts of interest
Commercial relationships must not affect scores. OceanAlt discloses the conflict between its role as a commercial product provider and as the RAP/rating body, and the governance principles that manage it.
