OceanAlt Agent Payment Tracker
The bar at the top of the homepage is our running record of the agentic payments space — not a market feed. Below is how each number is computed, where it comes from and how often it refreshes. You can click into each list and count them yourself.
What we won't do: We don't display industry totals we can't verify; we don't merge numbers computed under different definitions; and when a source fails we never substitute 0 or a random value — we show the last known good value with its timestamp, and after 7 days we simply say the data is unavailable.

These are the most-quoted — and most casually fabricated — numbers in this space. Until we have a verifiable source and a single consistent definition, we won't publish them.
- ◻️
x402 transaction count and volume — Needs a verifiable on-chain definition and index; counting differs across implementations and must not be merged
- ◻️
Protocol activity — No consistent cross-protocol definition of activity yet
- ◻️
Merchants and APIs accepting agentic payments — Requires case-by-case verification; sample too small for a credible total
- ◻️
Funding rounds and amounts — Public disclosure is incomplete; any count would be systematically low
