Tell us we got it wrong

Every day OceanAlt answers one question for other people: can this address receive money. When the answer is no, someone bears the cost. A payment gets blocked, or an account gets acted on downstream.

So there has to be a way back. If you think we got it wrong, say so below and a human will review it. We publish the outcome either way, including how often we change our minds.

Our review record

To date, nobody has filed an appeal.

So there is no overturn rate to report. No overturn rate does not mean our verdicts have never been wrong. It means nobody has appealed yet. Once the first review is done, the number appears here, flattering or not.

Machine-readable: GET /api/appeal. We do not promise a turnaround time, because there is one reviewer and promising one would be a cheque we cannot cash. What you see here is the actual elapsed time.
